Much of that work is ordinary and often unseen, yet over time those small acts of care quietly become the life we’ve built. In this honest and conversational evening, Emily will share stories from the dairy farm, the family kitchen and the many seasons of building a creative life while raising a family.

Through stories of butterflies, strength, patience, faith, beauty and the changing seasons of life, Emily will reflect on what it means to stop chasing the idea of a perfectly balanced life and instead pay attention to what each season is asking of us.

Together, we’ll consider what we’re tending, what we may need to release and how the things we care for so faithfully often shape us in return.

From her family’s dairy farm in southeast Minnesota, she shares the work and wonder of building a meaningful life alongside raising four children, tending a farm and growing a creative business.
